Training to become a multi faith independent celebrant was the last piece in the completion of a life’s jigsaw. I have previously been working as a therapist and will continue to do so, the two roles seem to dovetail into one another. My main goal is to help people to become aware of how best to help themselves to live better lives, to die better deaths and to help mark the rites of passage that we all go through on our life’s journey.

One of the things that attracted me to become a celebrant was becoming active within the community and education areas ( I trained as a secondary school teacher, - another jigsaw piece). I feel it is of paramount importance to enable all people to be able to mark and celebrate important rites of passage and life stages in a way in which is appropriate and unique to them.

Over the years, I have become pretty passionate about human rights (of all gender and religion) and autonomy. I live in Brighton but am more than happy to travel around the country and globe to perform ceremonies for people. I spend time with individuals getting to know how to create specific ceremonies that are as individual as they are.

I am excited to be receiving bookings for funerals, weddings and transgender naming ceremonies and many other types of occasion that people wish to observe and honour.
