Fees

All the ceremonies that I create are bespoke and individual to you, in some cases this may incur additional costs but it is important you are able to budget and manage costs effectively, so this is a guide to the fees for the services that I provide.

Civil Partnership, Wedding, Handfastings:

To include initial planning meeting, a second clarification meeting, writing and preparing the script for the ceremony, attendance at the wedding rehearsal, delivery of ceremony on the day of the wedding and a hard copy of the script as a memento: From £500

Funerals:

To include time spent speaking to a variety of family members (this can be done by email, phone or Skype, with people who aren’t living close by), writing and preparing the script for the ceremony, delivery of ceremony on the day: £200

Where a Funeral Director is involved there are no additional charges made by me my fees will be included in the Funeral Director’s quote

NB this includes pet funerals.

Baby Naming, Adoption, Family Unification:

To include initial planning meeting, writing and preparing the script for the ceremony, delivery of ceremony on the day and a hard copy of the script as a memento: From £300

Transgender Renaming:

To include initial planning meeting, writing and preparing the script for the ceremony, delivery of ceremony on the day and a hard copy of the script as a memento: From £300

Renewal of Vows:

To include initial planning meeting, writing and preparing the script for the ceremony, delivery of ceremony on the day and a hard copy of the script as a memento: From £250

Eldership, Puberty Rites, Milestone Birthday, Anniversary,

Rites of Passage:

To include initial planning meeting, writing and preparing the script for the ceremony, delivery of ceremony on the day and a hard copy of the script as a memento: From £300

Pre-Funeral Plan:

After discussions with me a document is drawn up for you stating how you wish your funeral to be arranged, order of service, chosen rite of passage according to their own spiritual (or non-religious, if appropriate) path. This document can also include requests for certain music, readings, poetry, etc: £100

In addition I am happy to assist with planning and writing a ceremony in order that the you may perform these yourself or to help you plan and conduct a ceremony. From £100

Please note: the above fees relate to events within a 20-mile radius of Brighton. Beyond this there will be an additional charge for travel, and in more distant locations there may also be an additional charge for accommodation, as required, and always agreed in advance.

For all ceremonies a non-returnable deposit of £100 is payable to confirm the booking.

Payment: Payment of any balance is due 28 days before your ceremony
